The Integrated Design Program is a leading interdisciplinary program being offered for the first time in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Middle East. The program combines knowledge from different disciplines, including design, computing, engineering, and business. Also, the program introduces students to the latest technologies in 3D modeling and visualization, digital twinning and fabrications, and mixed realities. The program is based on stimulating creative thinking by utilizing research and analysis methods and problem-solving strategies to develop innovative design solutions by employing logic and design skills using the latest technologies
The program goal is not graduating creative designers only, but rather, the program aims to improve quality of life and raise the competitiveness and efficiency of businesses and industries by developing and designing the best solutions to the challenges facing society, whether they are solutions for social experiences, products, applications, services or multimedia. The program gives students the opportunity to choose what suits them from various specializations that will enable them to determine their future path in the various fields of design, which are compatible with the current and future requirements of the labor market and industry
برنامج التصميم المتكامل هو برنامج رائد متعدد التخصصات يتم طرحه لأول مرة في المملكة العربية السعودية والشرق الأوسط. يعتمد البرنامج في أساسه على دمج المعارف المختلفة من المجالات المتعددة من التصميم والحوسبة والهندسة والأعمال والتصميم الثلاثي الأبعاد والحقائق المدمجة. ويرتكز البرنامج على تحفيز التفكير الإبداعي باستخدام أساليب البحث والتحليل واستراتيجيات حل المشاكل لتطوير حلول تصميمية مبتكرة وذلك من خلال توظيف المنطق ومهارات التصميم باستخدام أحدث التقنيات.
كما أن البرنامج لا يرتكز على تخريج المصممين المبدعين فقط, وإنما يهدف البرنامج إلى الارتقاء بجودة الحياة ورفع تنافسية وكفاءة الأعمال والصناعات وذلك بتصميم أفضل الحلول للتحديات التي تواجه المجتمع سواء كانت حلولاً لتجارب اجتماعية أومنتجات أو تطبيقات أو خدمات أو وسائط متعددة. حيث يتيح البرنامج للطلاب المجال لاختيار ما يناسبهم من تخصصات دقيقة متعددة تمكنهم من تحديد مسارهم المستقبلي في مجالات التصميم المختلفة والتي تتواءم مع متطلبات سوق العمل والصناعة الحالية والمستقبلية.
