The Program Goals and Educational Objectives (PEO)

  1. Progress their careers by engaging in entrepreneurship or working in governmental or private sectors related to design or design technology.
  2. Create full-scale designs for clients by showing design skills, processes and communications. 
  3. Advance their careers by demonstrating leadership and interpersonal skills including teamwork and communication skills.
  4. Develop their professional careers through self-learning or advanced degrees.


The Program Learning Outcomes (PLOs) are:

Knowledge and Understanding

  1. Global Citizen : Recognize social, cultural, and technological needs and values and their influence on design
  2. Design Awareness : Realize and explain basics of design and its related skills such as thinking processes and practices, and problem-solving techniques.

Skills

  1. Design Thinking and Process : Use research, analysis, and problem-solving strategies through creative processes to conceptualize and develop innovative design solutions.
  2. Computational and IT Capabilities : Use computational design professionally and up-to-date technology tools associated with multidisciplinary design.
  3. Design Solutions : Create innovative and meaningful simple and complex design solutions that respond to local and global issues.
  4. Design Communication : Communicate design ideas effectively using various forms of communication, including visual, physical, digital, verbal, and written.
